Mark Johnston’s filly has had a stellar year already, winning the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and the Duke of Cambridge Stakes at Newmarket.
She took outside in the Prix Morny, when beaten a neck by Andre Fabre’s new star Earthlight, dropping in defeat.
Johnston explained:”She will wait for the Cheveley Park now. It was a run that is good and there were no excuses.
“It seemed like she’d much prefer much better ground, but that might apply to this winner.
“You’d hope she’d get far much better ground at Newmarket, as there is no superior fall track than Newmarket. Everything is nice with her, touch wood.”
Stablemate Communique could nevertheless return to Germany looking for a first Group One success – however Johnston is thinking about Japan Cup and that the Canadian International using a line during his final run supporting the highly-impressive Ghaiyyath.
“He essentially missed the rest dramatically with the blindfold still on so that was not him,” said that the Middleham handler.
“There’s the Grosser Preis Von Baden in just two weeks’ period, however would we dare shoot him after two disasters in Germany? I don’t understand. I have not looked at what the choices are.
“I’d love to see him end the year at the Canadian International and Japan Cup, but I would have liked to be more going in these races off a leading run. We’ve experienced two disasters, although I’d love to believe he might have won a Group One in Germany.
“You would think that the Canadian International could be a suitable goal, but you want to be going into these races on the rear of runs.”
