Kell Brook vs Amir Khan? Eddie Hearn ‘still wants to make’ grudge match

Kell Brook along with Amir Khan’s evasive battle is going to be given”a roll of the dice” by promoter Eddie Hearn.
The world champions have been not able to agree that a significant grudge match for years – most recently in April when negotiations fell through since Khan dropped, and finally rather chose to challenge Terence Crawford.
“I still want to make that fight. I will give it one more roll of the dice,” Hearn said.
“I will tell them:’Men, spring 2020, let’s do it’.
“Hopefully we can get it over the line.”
Khan withdrew Billy Dib in four weeks but Brook has not fought since December when he outpointed Michael Zerafa.
“He would like to fight in December,” Hearn said about Brook who has recently returned to coaching in Sheffield.
“He needs the huge fights. He has been there and done it, he wishes to have those big fights, and that he feels as though he has a couple left.
“He strove to make the Terence Crawford struggle, 147lbs remains hard for him he will do it using the right quantity of time and preparation.
“He has the appetite, and still wants to knock out a particular Mr Khan.
“We’ll find out if we could get it over the line”
Khan said placing his score with Brook from the days before this summer, before his latest fight.
“The Brook battle is still on the market, undoubtedly,” Khan explained. “In Britain it would be a enormous fight.”
Brook was made to deny rumours that he had retired.
“We want to combat Crawford,” Brook posted on social networking. “All these are the level of struggles that make me excited and I would only ever want to bow out on a high.
“If these big fights can be created, then I’d love nothing more than to dancing again under these bright lights.”
